NEW DELHI, October 12, 2026 – Bloomberg New Economy today announced its final speaker list and program updates ahead of the first ever Bloomberg New Economy Forum (the “Forum”) to be held in New Delhi, India, on 13-15 October.
Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, will address the summit and a delegation of senior Indian government representatives, as well as some of India’s foremost business and technology leaders, taking part in a dynamic editorial program under the guiding theme of “A World in Play: Defining the New Levers of Power.” They will be joined by over 500 international private and public sector leaders, including former and current senior government representatives from Australia, Canada, Italy, Qatar, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States, amongst others.
Across three days, the Forum will create a platform for participants to consider and discuss some of the world’s most urgent challenges and most immediate opportunities – set against the backdrop of a turbulent global economy, a flourishing period of technological innovation and a highly nuanced geopolitical landscape.
“India’s position as one of the world’s fastest growing economies and a global center of innovation makes it the perfect location for this year’s New Economy Forum,” said Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies. “We’re bringing business and government leaders together to discuss the rapidly changing geo-economic issues and growth opportunities – and find new ways to act on them.
