Bloomberg New Economy
Energy Technology Coalition
Our mission
The Bloomberg New Economy Energy Technology Coalition galvanizes global decision makers and experts across industries to accelerate the adoption of technologies that make energy consumption more efficient, resilient, and responsive amid soaring global electricity demand. While the required transformation poses a significant global challenge, it also presents one of the biggest economic opportunities of our generation. As such, this invitation-only working group aims to help companies, cities, and countries navigate this moment by focusing on where and why deployment of demand-side technologies is stuck, what’s working quietly, and what levers are being overlooked.
Bloomberg is proud to launch this initiative with Schneider Electric as Co-Chair.
The Challenge
The Energy Crunch and the Smarter Way Through
An electrification supercycle is driving a 75% increase in global electricity demand that will require the world to rethink how we use energy, not just how we generate it.
Coalition Voices
Our members share their perspectives on the importance of the Coalition in overcoming barriers to adoption of demand side technologies to meet global energy needs.
