International Cancer Coalition
Our mission
The Bloomberg New Economy International Cancer Coalition is a multistakeholder platform, bringing together leading figures from academia, industry, government, patient advocacy, and policy organizations to accelerate the development of cancer cures and prevention on a global scale.
Founded in 2021, the Coalition’s mission is to strengthen international clinical trial collaboration and improve patient access to cutting-edge treatments, while promoting regulatory cooperation worldwide to speed up approvals of new therapies, diagnostics, and preventive measures. Ultimately, the Coalition strives to save millions of lives by bringing the latest innovations in cancer care to patients regardless of where they live.

Our goal is to make early diagnosis and high-quality treatment accessible globally, ensuring no patient is left behind. That’s why we’ve established regional taskforces:
- Africa: Exploring partnerships in the continent
- Latin America: Starting with Brazil
- North America & Europe: Starting with Rural America
- Asia-Pacific: Expanding our work in China and Australia
Designed to tackle context-specific challenges and accelerate pilot projects, they bridge our Coalition’s expertise with effective implementation and aim to scale successful models from centers of excellence.
